First‑in‑system dual‑source photon‑counting CT
In October 2026, we will install Baylor Scott & White’s first NAEOTOM Alpha Peak. Its direct photon-counting technology delivers exceptional image quality, enhanced tissue characterization and greater diagnostic confidence at low radiation doses, expanding imaging capabilities for structural heart disease and complex cardiovascular conditions.
Region’s first dedicated program for cardiac PET‑CT imaging
Cardiac PET-CT provides absolute myocardial blood flow and myocardial flow reserve measurements, improving detection of microvascular disease and balanced ischemia. Our program adds advanced diagnostic capabilities for cardiac sarcoidosis, prosthetic valve endocarditis and myocardial viability assessment before revascularization.
