Community engagement in action
In FY 2026, our targeted health initiatives and strategic investments enabled us to provide more than $54 million in charity care and provide vital health resources, including educational outreach, community health fairs and collaborative civic programs. We continue to address health disparities and drive meaningful, equitable impact across our region.

SELF-MONITORING BLOOD PRESSURE KIOSK PROGRAM
High blood pressure continues to be one of our priority issues and an issue of serious concern in the community. Over the past 20 years, more people have been diagnosed with high blood pressure than ever before. African Americans are the most impacted, as they have the highest blood pressure among any other race in the world. Through the Blood Pressure Kiosk initiative, the American Heart Association and Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital will help teach the community about the importance of checking blood pressure, changing habits and controlling hypertension.
